IOP — Specific Questions

Can I continue working or going to school while in IOP? +
Yes. IOP is specifically designed to allow you to maintain your daily responsibilities. With morning, afternoon, and evening session options available seven days a week, you can structure your program around work, school, or family commitments.
How is IOP different from standard weekly therapy? +
Standard outpatient therapy is typically one session per week. IOP provides multiple sessions per week — group therapy, individual counseling, and skills workshops — giving you significantly more clinical contact, structure, and support at a time when you need it most.
How long does IOP last? +
IOP typically runs 8 to 12 weeks depending on your clinical progress. Your clinician reviews your progress regularly and adjusts the plan as needed. When you are ready, step-down to standard outpatient therapy is planned and supported.
