What to Expect

Step 1 — Confidential Initial Assessment
Your journey begins with a warm, confidential conversation with a licensed clinician. Together you explore your current situation, personal goals, and what recovery means to you. There is no judgment — just an honest, caring conversation to help us understand how best to support you.
Step 2 — Your Personalized Recovery Plan +
Your assigned clinician develops a personalized recovery plan tailored to your specific situation — outlining the therapy approaches best suited to you, your session schedule, your recovery goals, and a clear relapse prevention strategy built around your real life.
Step 3 — Individual & Group Therapy +
Individual sessions give you dedicated one-on-one time with your clinician to explore the roots of your substance use and build personal recovery tools. Group therapy connects you with others on a similar journey — offering peer understanding, shared learning, and genuine human connection in a safe, structured environment.
Step 4 — Skills Building & Relapse Prevention +
Using CBT, MI, and DBT, your clinician helps you understand the patterns and triggers behind your substance use — and build practical coping skills to manage them. Relapse prevention planning is woven throughout, giving you real tools for real situations in everyday life.
Step 5 — Progress Reviews & Ongoing Support +
Your clinician reviews your progress regularly — celebrating what is working and adjusting where needed. Recovery is not a straight line, and your plan evolves with you. You are always an active partner in your own recovery journey.
Step 6 — Long-Term Recovery & Aftercare +
As you near the end of your structured program, your clinician works with you to build a comprehensive aftercare plan — covering ongoing support options, community connections, peer support resources, and the tools to sustain your recovery long after sessions end.
